About Our Business

Sew This is a creative sewing center located in Abita Springs, Louisiana. We have a variety of Bernina Machines on display for you, the sewing enthusiast, to test drive at your convenience. Whether it be answering a simple question or problems with your machine, our very knowledgeable staff can assist you with all of your sewing needs. When you add it all up, we have a total of over 100 years of sewing ability between our Professional Long Arm Quilter and our teaching staff at Sew This.

Machine Repairs

Sew This! Services most sewing machines except Viking and Phaff models. For non BERNINA machines dropped off there is a $29.95 service fee at time of drop off, if you decide to have your machine serviced this will go towards your repair/service. If you decide to not have your machine repaired then the $29.95 is not refunded. Just to be clear this is not an extra charge.

* if any parts have to be ordered additional fees will apply For BERNINA customers items you need to bring for service, only the following items should be brought. All other accessories please leave at home, less items in transit less there is a chance an item will get lost or misplaced.

* Machine Power cord (if not BERNINA)

* Bobbin and Bobbincase

* Foot Control (if not BERNINA)

* Embroidery Hoop if having emb serviced (if not BERNINA)

* Embroidery foot if emb is being serviced (if not BERNINA)

Every brand and accessories are different please bring things you feel might be important to have when serviced.

Longarm Quilting Services

Don’t forget we offer Longarm quilting for our customers. We are currently able to offer a fast turnaround time depending on the quilt design desired. We can have your quilt quilting anywhere from 1-3 weeks for non custom quilts. The turnaround time can vary depending on amount of quilts in line.

I just discovered this amazing fabric store. I had a sewing machine lesson on a Bernina machine that I bought several years ago and had not had the time to learn or use it. Cody was a wonderful teacher! This sewing machine is no longer intimidating! So many beautiful fabrics.
