OUR STORY

Maria and Frank Pyburn, and Jose and Phillip DiCristina, opened DiCristina's Italian and Seafood Restaurant on January 6, 2005. While only 8 months before Hurricane Katrina ravished New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, DiCristina's had already established itself as a quality restaurant serving the freshest and finest in Gulf Seafood and Sicilian dishes.  In the months following Hurricane Katrina, Phillip and Josie, being from St. Bernard, made those displaced from the Southshore feel right at home.  Many of those same people can still be found enjoying "comfort food" from back home.

In the 17 years DiCristina's has been opened, we have become known for serving quality, fresh food at generous portions.  This is a tradition that the Pyburn and DiCristina families have strived to maintain.  It is our sincere desire that you enjoy dining with us as much as we enjoy having you.
