Banting's is a locally owned family nursery that has been a focal part of the New Orleans horticultural scene since 1960.  In 2014 Banting's expanded to the Northshore and opened its second location just outside of Mandeville in Lacombe.  We have a farm-like philosophy in that we rise early, work late, and are open seven days a week to help our customers shop at their convenience.  As a staff with over 200 years of combined experience, we love to talk about plants as much as we love to sell them!

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

- Garden Plan: At Banting's, we offer personalized Garden Plan Consultations.  Call now if you are thinking of enhancing your front or backyard, or if you have a new additions or construction.  We offer two types of purchase options in addition with the Garden Plan.

- Delivery - Free shipping on orders of $100.  We do our best to get your delivery to you in a timely manner.

- Horticulturalist on Site: We have a licensed horticulturalist onsite.  They provide our plants quality care and keep up to date on the latest horticultural research.

- Soil Testing: Don't Guess.  Soil Test!!  Providing your plants with proper nutrition is vital.  Have your soil tested before planting.  Pick up your LSU Soil Testing Kit from our Bantings locations.  Once your results are in, our staff will help you interpret your results and provide proper gardening solutions.

- Container Design: We offer pre-made containers ready to go at the nursery!  We also offer custom designs.
